Game Crashing.

I just installed Sims 2 on this computer yesterday. I installed the base game, University, Open For Business, and Bon Voyage. Today I downloaded Insimenator version 2.9 but it didn't work, so I deleted it and put in version 2.5.
It worked fine for a little while, but now my game shuts down when it's only been open a few minutes. So then I deleted the Insimenator file out of my downloads folder (I have no other custom content), but the game is still crashing a few minutes after being turned on.

Is there a way I can fix this WITHOUT uninstalling and reinstalling?

This sounds more like a requirements issue than a game issue.

Some things to consider:

- Does your system meet the minimum requirements to run the game? With each new EP, the requirements go up.
- Have you updated your video card drivers?
- Have you tried just running the base game first? If that works fine, try adding University. Rinse and repeat.
