I'm having a bit of trouble making sense of that. Are you saying that you are getting an error? Can you please attach the error log to your post so we can get an idea of what the error is?
At a guess - are you using the hack that lets your sims arrive on community lots at normal speed? If yes, make sure that all the files for that hack are in the correct places as not all of them go into Downloads, some of them need to be placed in Overrides. Or else completely remove that hack.
