sims face is flashing blue?

 I am having a werid problem with "samantha contrary" from "bellodonna cove" who i down aged to a teen to have a teen pregnancy story for her then when i aged her back to an adult her face was just a flashy blue thing? everytime I aged her back and forth to try and correct it the adult "her" was flashy blue so i had to abandon my story and delete her/ kill her off? anyone know what caused it?

I've had this problem in the past. What has cured it is to have the sim go to a mirror and change their appearance. Once you get to the appearance screen, you'll see they sim looking back at you as they should appear. Don't change anything. Just close the window. The sim should now be ok.
