I have never packaged a lot with tombstones and I was wondering is it safe to do so, to include those craves (2 in total)? Will the ghosts stay intanct? I wanted to ask this before doing something stupid, because I know that it's a bad thing to move living sims with lots. I can use fake tombstones but real ghost would be better, of course. Undecided

And another thing... I accidentally deleted my mailbox and just downloaded new one from the "Sim a little dream a lot" site. How does this affect if someone downloads the house?

If the ghosts knew other sims, you'll get the same problems as you would with packaging a lot with living sims. Since they had formed relationships, that information will come along with them and break any hood they get put into.

As for the mailbox, all the recolours, etc, will come with the lot. So you'll end up with a massive package file and those who install the lot will end up with a bunch of CC they may not want. You could always clean up the sims2Pack file using Clean Installer, but if someone doesn't want the downloaded mailbox in their game and removes it on installing the lot, they'll end up with a lot with no mailbox.

Best thing to do if you're planning on offering this lot for download? Get rid of the downloaded mailbox. It'll just keep attaching to lots you package even when you use a normal mailbox. Rebuild the lot from scratch, move in the sims you plan to turn into ghosts and kill them using the spawnable Rodney's Death Creator or InSim, make sure they don't meet anyone first, just hit pause the moment you move them in so you don't get any visitors, no garden club, no Rod Humble, etc. You may need to use the sethour cheat to set the lot hour to something like 4am so that any visits by NPCs are prevented due to the extended time it takes for all the Grimmy animations to play out. That way you'll have a clean lot with clean ghosts that don't come bearing nasty surprises.

Thank you for your great advices, Engram. I'll do exactly like you said. Smiley

I now what you mean with the mailbox thing. I usually don't download many houses but about week ago I downloaded one from Simantics -site. To my surprise, I ended having such an army of mailboxes (in all colours and flowery patterns) in my game that I nearly wanted to cry. While trying to get all of them out, I accidentally deleted the real one too. I was so angry that I just wanted to rant to the person who did the house and gave no warning... but I didn't.

I actually haven't put the downloaded mailbox in my game yet. It's just sitting in a folder I use to store files before putting them in. Saving the neighborhood and re-installing the game would bring the real mailbox back but it's such an big thing to do, that I'm not sure want to go through it again. Undecided
