Pool window

A while ago I downloaded a sim house which included a pool. The pool was right up against the house and there was a window on the basement wall that allowed you to see sims swimming while being in the basement. My question is how would I go about doing this. How can I make it so that my pool can be place right against the house and how can i put a window in so that you can see underwater in the basement?
