Confused about vacation days?

Hi all,
I'm a little confused, do you actually need to save up vacation days in the bon voyage pack to take a vacation or are they only used if you call in sick to work i'm really confuse please help thank you!   :confused:

Vacation days and going on vacation are unrelated.  Go figure.

EA has consistency problems relating the regular work vacation days to the vacations you can have in bon voyage. or they just wanted to avoid confusion. so much for that.
