First of all, I'm not using any hack or mod. after I installed nightlife expansion. I encounter problems for nightlife expansion's objects such as in the picture below. I have original sims2 and university installed before I install nightlife. not ALL the nightlife objects face such problem though, but mostly(90%). and I didn't receive any error message.

Any idea on how to fix this? Sofa, Car that came with nightlife exp, the waiter and waitress clothes, the cooking cooktop etc... However, All my custom content are fine huh

Looks like both the NL objects.package and skins.package are corrupted. You can copy these over from the CD and that should fix it. But I'm not sure where exactly on the CD you would find those 2 files so I'll leave that part up to the experts.

Other than copying the files from CD your other option would be to uninstall and reinstall NL. Not the whole game, just the one EP. If you wish to hang on to your CC and hoods, you would need to create a backup first because uninstalling an EP would wipe your entire Sims 2 folder in My Documents.

As a first line of attack I'd try copying skins.package and objects.package from your NL CD into the correct folder in Program Files Again, not sure of the exact filepath, I usually just stumble around until I find the correct location. I think skins.package in the Catalog folder under TSBin, not sure about objects.package, but I think there is a folder called Objects so it's probably in there. You'd be looking in the Nightlife folder in Program Files to locate these. If restoring the files from CD does not work, you may need to reinstall Nightlife. Don't forget to make a backup of your game before doing any of this.

well, I did copy the objects.package from nightlife ep cd to the correct folder. But didn't work, I'll try the skin.package then.
