Is anyone running Windows 7? I am and while all my defaults are working fine none of the rest of my custom content is showing up. I need to mess with it more but I just wondered if anyone else was having this problem

I haven't installed Sims 2 on Windows 7 yet, but I can work on that tonight and see how it goes. Where did you put your downloads folder? I assume that you might have luck searching for your problem under Vista as they are similar.
