New Problem! SERIOUS! Neighborhood Flashing Red?

You mean if you right click on the my computer icon and left click on properties there isn't any information about the cpu? I have XP pro so if you have XP home maybe it's different. I don't mess around with home that much because of the network limitations it has on domains. I've never had mine not show the cpu and memory info on the general tab though. Even when it was sp1.

Chaavik:
XP Home and XP Pro are similar in every aspect except that XP Pro have additional tools for admins to run networks, user groups and a slew of other admin stuff. Home is the basic stuff without the whistles and bells.

My Computer should be on your desktop where you see a bunch of programs to click on to start up.

1. Right-click My Computer.
2. Select Properties from the menu that popped up over My Computer.
3. Select the General tab where you can view the basic computer specs.

This is an example:

This is what you should be looking for to find out the system specs for your computer.

Ohh. That I understand. I fixed the problem, though. The flashingness is gone. One of the folders or something must've been screwed up, because I just reinstalled my last installed EP. Well it's all good now, and now I know how to answer the question, What are your computer specs?

caffeinated.joy:
OK... now that you know how to find them, can you PLEASE POST THEM? I'm begging you now. As I said before, cc does not cause graphic errors and, chances are, you might have the problem pop up again. So (as i asked before) can you please let us now your computer specs so we can help you prevent this happening again?

Also (as has been asked before) let us know if you are on a pc or laptop, and if you are using XP or Vista.

Madison-Simple-As-That:
