Naked Sim = Floating Head grrr

I don't want to take the attention off of wands' issue, but this is very similar to the problem.

I, too, have just a head. But there seems to be no problem with the Sim in game. Just the head is shown in the screen when I'm waiting to enter the lot. This is bizarre...

For Christianlov'solder skintone changers you need to have the skintones that it calls for in your downloads folder. I've had mixed results using the newer version. Sometimes it works for me sometimes it doesn't, but I know that the problem is something I did or didn't do.

I worked around this issue by putting the skin tones I wanted it to use in their own folder and then used the CL Tool to just scan that folder and add them.

That is a bizarre problem. The floating head is just because it's not shower proof. You wouldn't happen to have a mod that allows the sims to be naked all the time in your game or anything like that do you? I don't know if there is such a mod but it would not surprise me if there was.

kinnika:
No, no mod like that in my game. However, when I have him shower or bathe in game, he looks fine. Not sure what it is. But, it's not affecting game play so I guess it's not too big an issue.

*A little later*

I fixed my own problem. Seems there was something wrong with what he was wearing, I guess. It fixed itself after I changed him... although, I never had problems with that outfit before in game. Oh well, it's all good now.

kinnika:
Wands, were you ever able to fix this problem? If so, how did you do it? Now one of my heads is a floater.

danceswithwands:
I haven't fixed- or even tried to yet- but I think I will start by sorting through all the custom skins and figuring out which ones are floaters.  LOL

I then will just find a file where i can link the floater to a showerproof tone... I did it once long ago- I am hoping it will all "come back to me" when I try it again... like riding a bike?  lol

Will let ya know if I make any progress. :)
