Address book mod

Would it be possible to mod the "call sim" address book to hide sims that can't be reached, like if they're at work or have no phone?

That should be possible. But without a hack, even though those people still show up, doesn't it say "xx is at work, UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE I KNOW" and other messages like that? Or "xx doesn't have a phone".

I think the idea is for them not even to show up as being available to call so you don't waste time calling 4 or 5 people until you finally find someone home.

This is a different from what the OP has requested, although it accomplishes the same for people with a phone.  Calling sims in the Sim Bin will still produce the "doesn't have a phone" message.  I've gotten around that buy giving everyone my sims meet a cell phone.  You can then call sims in the Sim Bin.
