I just saw something upsetting.

I was coming home from riding my chair around the neighborhood, and as I turned onto my street, I saw a squirrel sitting in the middle of the road.  There was a car coming, so I thought the squirrel would get away in time.  But as it was running away, the car hit it.  After the car was gone, I saw the squirrel laying in the road flinching. I was gonna help it, but:

1) It could've bitten me

2) There was another car coming, and if I didn't get out of the way, I would have been roadkill too.

It was not a pleasant thing to witness.

Squirrels are easier to handle when killed than deer are, I know cuz the area where I live is named after baby deer.

aww pickles, that is sad. Unfortunately though it's an all too frequent occurence, though it's worse when you see it happen or cause it yourself

I know the feeling   a bird flew into our car a couple weeks ago.  It's hard to forget but there wasn't really anything you could have done pickles.
