Installing a Sims

I have download a Sims 3 Sims(Robert Newbie) from TSR,sent a Private message to the Preson who created him he took it out of his game then he reinstalled it into his with no troubles,I deleted the Game and re-installed Game ,then went to re-install it and Got a Messgae:4606 sims3pack:Installation Failed:please make sure your game has  the latest Software Updates and try again can someone help me please?

Did you remove all the old content before installing the game again? (sorry it's hard to describe in english)
but did you go to search on start on your desktop, type The Sims 3 and searched every map/folder. Maybe there's some old content that was left behind that may clash when you re-installed it........

yes everything was removed,check every place re-installed the game and it still would not install,even installed the game I bought for some one and on that computer the Installation Failed

Hey Dec,

There are a lot of broken sims3 files from T$R and the EA store. Go check out this thread http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15129.0.html and download the TS3 recompressor it can fix those bad files most of the time. Read the posts before you use it though.
