I wish I had snow, living in Texas we don't get any tongue but I've had my share of it from growing up in Canada years ago.

<image snipped>

Well we did get that nice snow dump down here in Houston in December. Dallas has had 3 snow storms pass through this winter. But other than that... Still more snow than I ever saw growing up in LA.

Edimuffin, when quoting any post, can you please take a minute to remove any images from the quote before posting? It makes the page easier for people with slow connections to load and reduces server bloat. Smiley

Well, you guessed it, the midwest and Atlantic coast are once again gearing up for yet another dumping of snow. I think Mother Nature is getting us back for skimping the last ten or so years, but dang, does it have to be all at once and with interest!? Also, Ali, stop ordering snow for the UK! Cheesy

Mother nature could use some toilet paper I think; it's taking a big ol' one on us at the moment. It's supposed to keep up until at least tomorrow morning. Heh.

...I side with the furball and place all the blame on Ali. Tongue

What I REALLY need right now is a quick boost in outside tempature, maybe in the mid 80's?

Coco would suffice for now.

EEEEEEEEEEPS! I woke up this morning to a text from a friend asking if I was OK because there was an earthquake here in Illinois. Found out it was in a location like four hours away from us. I definitely believe it's time to move the heck outta this state!

I actually felt that quake, furball! Around four this morning, the house just started to shake; 'twas a very strange thing to experience. 'Course, we had a similar one last year too, and that was equally as weird.

Oddly enough, we didn't feel anything. It hit around four in the morning our time and the only reason I woke up at all was the radio was playing the song, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight, " which causes my son to wake up screaming because the singing hurts his ears due to the high pitch. If it comes on while he's awake, he screams. He just hates that song, which annoys me cause I've always loved it. Tongue

That song is awesome.

I know this might sound a bit stupid. But I like earthquakes. The harmless ones only of course. I'm all for natural disasters, provided no one gets hurt and nothing gets damaged.  Grin
It was always pretty amazing watching the weak hurricanes pass over when I lived in TX.  Cheesy
LOL. We didn't even board up until it was sure to be a category 2.
