Id like to find a mod that just adjusts the sim time to real time to make time longer.

You could always use the cheat "setHour #" and replace the # with a number.... if that helps at all?

Just a few things to remember about that cheat:

- The game works on a 24-hour clock, so 0-23 are the valid choices you can use. (SetHour 0-23)
- You need the Open for Business EP or higher for it to work.

The other thing about that cheat is any changes to the hour are reset at midnight.  I don't remember if it's midnight correct time or midnight changed time though.  In either case though, you will have more or fewer hours before daylight, depending on which way the clock was moved.

So there is no non cheat way to increase the amount of playtime I have in a day?

None that I know of, really.

If you have Apartment Life, you could turn your Sim into a witch and learn the Tempus Interruptus spell; that'll freeze the game timer for a while.

Thinking on this a bit, Merola made a clock way back in the beginning of TS2 that does change time.  I can't vouch for whether it still works or not with all the EPs added since it was made, but it may satisfy your wants.
