Check out this lady, she's made some very nice and very functional stuff. She's included recolours with the Torrox set she's made and I'm working on some for her, as well. Actually, check out the whole site once you're registered, I'm sure you'll find something if you actually use their search function.

Also, if you don't see any two-story windows you like, there are a few single story window sets you can put together to make appear as if they were two story. For example, this set (also on MTS). I like sets like these (windows with a lot of different sized pieces that can fit together in different way) because it offers me more flexibility. Smiley

Edit (to add some additional links): There's this one here (again on MTS), a set that looks potentially good on SimGedohns here and another one from the same site that can be pieced together to look like a two story window.

Another suggestion I'd like to make is to take a look at different residential and community lots offered for download. If you see a window set you like, chances are it will be listed in the credits, including the maker and where it was gotten (at least it should with lots we have here). You can then either go to the site and get the window set (as well as any recolours you might like), or download the house and use Clean Installer to install just the windows.

Mourne999, just made an incredible build set with a two story window with recolors.

Take a look.

It's the first of seven parts

Can't remember who did the Helios set. But, I think there's a two story window in that set too.

The Torrox set is the one that I am working on for Moune, making recolours. I LOVE that set.

All4Sims made a bunch of recolors. Then I made one....For myself.

The only thing that bugs me is, the fence isn't recolorable.

Other than that, it has got to be one of the most fantstic build sets out there.....So many possibilities....

Actually, I don't think ANY fence is recolourable, which is a pain in the butt, because there are so many sets that come with fences... Too bad they can't be slaved to take the recolours done on the master meshes, you know??

I agree.

I was going to ask Moune if I could get the fence done in the same wood texture used on the window. Then, I thought about it and decided it would look tacky.

Why would it be tacky? A lot of people like things around their sim houses to match, up to and including the fences.

I thought the design used on the fence would look tacky in wood. But, I found a different one over at MTS. It's wooden and has a gold design in the middle.

My brain is only on half speed. Can't think of what I want to call that design. I want to say, emblem, but that's wrong.
