Sims 2 patches/updates included in expansions?

Hey guys!

Super quick question: Are Sims 2 updates & patches included in newer expansion packs? I got a new laptop and want to install Sims 2 back onto it, do I need to install them all in a certain order with the correct patches in between installing, or are they part of the installation process? Thanks!

No, they're not included on the EP/SP discs. As to installing them in order, everyone has had different experiences with that, but I've always found it best to install them in order and patch as I go.
