Make Game Run Faster? *SOLVED!!* Thank you so much, everybody!!

Hi. My game isn't running terribly slow, just not as fast as it used to... I've used the Compressorizer to shrink my perviously 4 GB downloads to 2.96. I've also defragmented my hard drive. I don't want to part with my Downloads, so I was wondering...Is there anyway to make it run faster?  
Any replies and help would be greatly appricated, thank you.

Do you mean load faster?
Because if so the Compressorizor won't necessarily help with that...if anything it made my game load even more slowly, even though it virtually halved my downloads folder from 8+ gigs.

But if you mean your game is running slowly when you're playing it, like freezing and lagging, with slow frame rates etc, then that's another kettle of fish.
Could be your graphics card, too many high-poly objects...lots of things.

You could try lowering the graphics settings. Other than that, the only thing I can think of, aside from parting with some of your Downloads to ease the bloat), is running a scan for spyware/malware. That can choke things up.

You could try 1) Using CCleaner to clean out all the temp files left behind from being on the Internet 2). Doing a registry clean.

I know these aren't directly related to the game, but they do affect the computer's ability to run programs faster. Sometimes that helps the game out.

Thank you! I just cleaned out my computer and got all the poop off of it. Now, it's loading in about a minute, tops! Thank you all so much.
