I have had several infant default outfits in my game, and each time I use the correct meshes, yet still somehow, the meshes don't appear to be working? The clothes appear the color and pattern intended, but as nude mesh, with a diaper bulge.

Anyone know what's wrong? *scratches head*

Sorry it's not very good...  Cry

Try putting the new outfit directly in the Downloads folder. Or try to follow all the tips on my site. And as I've said before, a whole body pic helps Wink

Also, be sure to have your Sim/Object Details set on High.  Smiley

Make a new folder in your sims 2 directory(NOT in your downloads folder) called ''Defaults''
Put your default replacement stuff in there.
The game reads its files(and folders) in alphabetical order so the file you want will be read before it go's to the downloadfolder.
It will ignore other replacements installed.

Are you sure the file you installed isn't just a texture replacement?
You need to install a mesh also.

That's one of simotized's recolors of Tenshii's blanket mesh, with the texture and mesh in the same file. But I can see the mesh have arms of some sort. Like I said, to see clearly what outfit mesh you have, I'll need a full body picture (like seen from above in a bed, or at the floor).

It's quite possible it reads the texture from one file and the mesh from another.

If you have the diaper outline, I think you need to check my user manual yet again Wink

Well actually it started with the blanket, but then I replaced it with one of your creations raven- the new threadless tee's.

There is no mesh (and I can't get any pictures until I have access to my sim computer) it's got arms, but no legs but it's got the diaper outline, and then the threadless tee has arms and legs and the outline...

What is a texture file exactly?  huh

I'm pretty sure the link theraven provided goes straight to the mesh... :/

My newer outfits require one texture file and one mesh file. It's the same as my older outfits, except I've splitted them up. Takes less space on my harddrive if I don't need 4 copies of each outfit...

Sure you didn't forget the meshfile?
Diaper outline usually means either no mesh, or troubles in the graphics settings.

I knew I had been downloading stuff right!! It turns out (and this happened to some normal clothes meshes too!) that I thought I had set my graphics higher, but then had walked away, and then they turned themselves off without me in the room. My game's pretty high quality so I was unable to tell the difference... And thus, the other day I double/triple checked my graphics- low and behold they were set on low!

Thanks for your help, and now I feel stupid XD

But it's all fixed! Yay!
