Terrain invading roads

While landslides do happen, it's quite annoying to have them in Simworld. Is there a way to fix or raise a road that's been sunk/covered by terrain after placing new lots next to it? Deleting or moving the lot once it happens doesn't do anything, or worse still, doing it expands the landslide.
