Custom content not working on Windows 7

I just installed Sims 3 on Windows 7...and some of the custom content I downloaded doesn't show up in the game. Thing is, the stuff I've downloaded worked fine on XP.

Can anyone help?

Have you try reinstalling your custom content because i also have windows 7 and in my case i had to reinstall my custom content ;) after installing.

How do you reinstall the CC that's in the Mods/Package folder?

Do you have the installer monkey thats found on mod the sims that is what you can use to reinstall cc in the mod/package folder. ;) or you can use this tool to install your cc in your mod/package folder.

I don't trust the framework thing  :eek: So I don't wanna use it...
And I thought the installer monkey were just for windows vista?
