Sims 2 double deluxe cc not showing up

Its seems this is a common problem,I've read everything I can find.But no real answers on how to fix the problem.I've read through and done the steps here http://www.simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:GCCTSU2.Still nothing.
Yes I have CC on,yes it is installed in C:\Users\user\Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Double Deluxe\Downloads.
I can get clothes,hair,skin....but no objects other then recolors.
Please can someone who has or knows someone with Double Deluxe who has figured this out help,please.

Have you installed the CEP?

Also double check to make sure your Downloads folder name is spelled right. It should be plural, with a capital "D", as I have it spelled. :)

I have CEP installed,and I have the folder name spelled correctly.

Paden:
My only suggestion would be to blow it up. Then again, I'm not the most patient sort of person in the world.
