Ideas? Help.

Okay so I've been playing Sims for ages now (Sims 2) and I have run out of ideas for the lives of my families :/
It's basically the same thing everytime, happy family, lots of children, great jobs, blah blaaah...
So if anyone has any ideas as to what would make their lives a little more interesting please let me know.

Write a sims story? Play some sort of legacy, perhaps? Or make a challenge for your game, such as limited money or raise 6 babies to teenagers without cheats or hacks - that sort of things. Maybe enter a contest? SimOasis has some, and GoS has a few, too.

And please don't double post in several categories. One topic is enough.
