What is this strange sound?

Hi guys I thought I would ask a question about a bizarre sound I've been hearing in my game here lately. It sounds like a slot machine or someth kinda like a loud Sharriiing. I don't know I can't really explain it but when I hear it I'll look around the lot to see what's causing it but I can't see anything. I've never noticed the sound before and it seems to be with ALL my families. I have all EPs except seasons and bon voyage. Thank you for all your help.

I'm not sure about that I'll load my game up and see when it happens. I have noticed at night though. I'll get back to you on that joy

Could it be wants rolling?
There are a few sounds that might be similar to a slot machine. I rarely play with sounds on, but I think the wants rolling sounds like one.

Did one well-known Sim die? They may be beneficiaries of his/her estate and be getting simoleans deposited to their accounts. Check their memories for a death.
