Neighborhood backups aren't showing up in Sims 2 Ultimate Collection from origin

joewinko:
I download the free Sims 2 Ultimate Collection from origin and I tried putting my neighborhoods that I had backed up into the game but it wouldn't work (i moved all the files and folders into the neighborhood folder) but when i tried opening up the sims 2 ultimate collection, my backup neighborhoods didn't show up at all, only the default ones.
Can someone please help me fix this?
If you need to know more just ask.

I believe that UC creates a NEW subfolder in My Documents/EA Games called "The Sims2 Ultimate Collection" where before everything went in "The Sims2" folder there.

Did you copy your files into the Neighborhoods folder within The Sims2 Ultimate Collection folder?

If you haven't already, delete the NeighborhoodManager.package.

Make sure the saved neighborhoods don't have the same ID as the generated ones.  Get a bulk renaming utility if you need to fix them.

i tried deleting the neighborhood manager and making sure the names weren't the same but it still didn't work.
