Can someone edit these hairs?

Hi, so i downloaded these two hairs, but they have these things that i dont like:

1 "Peppermint Noir", by Wicked_Sims from MTS:


2 Hair 004 by Flora from XMSims:


Can someone remove them please? i tried to do it myself in bodyshop but the alphatexture from the part that i dont like is also the alphatexture from the ponytail, so it looked like this in both:
