Neighborhood decorations can not be seen from inside Lot during gameplay

I'm having a problem with my sims 2 game. i put up a lot of neighborhood decorations (trees) around my lot like this:


but when i play as the lot, this is what it looks like from both sides:



you can't see all of the trees i added to the neighborhood screen. whats going on? I have all the graphic setting put on high, and the lot view distance put on high too. Could someone please help me fix this?

Doesn't look that weird to me. Trees geenrally don't look any good from lot view, and the distance looks about right. Have you tried placing the trees closer to the road?
