Sims2 pack files won't install

Got a new hard drive reinstalled all my sims2 games and go to start shopping for downloads. One big annoying problem the sims2 pack files refuse to install. They don't even look like thedark blue installer that comes with the game. So now I am stuck with only installing rar files.

Do you have the complete collection? i know that the install paths are kinda weird with it
You might try using clean installer
