Yes they will die, if I made a version only for townies then nobody else would ever age.

Are you still trying to make a mod where all the sims will age, even if they're not on the lot?

I have got a report back from one of my beta testers & I have decided to remove this mod for now below is part of that report, I recommend that you delete this mod from your downloads folder.
 
"Well they age completely, they just do not do the transition to the next
age. The elder is tuck at 71 days and the teen is stuck at 0 days left."
 
edit: I will post a updated version when this mod is more stable.

I have decided to give up on this mod, I have tried getting it to work but visiting sims will not age they just remain stuck at 0 days, if you still have this mod I suggest you delete it from your game.
