Morgan fidgeted uneasily on the sofa. The events of earlier playing over in her mind. Her chest grew tighter and the off white walls seemed to be closing in around her, chocking her. She had to get out of here; there were so many memories over the last 24 hours that she didn’t think she could take anymore.
She grabbed her keys and ran out of the flat, no stop for her coat to protect her from the winter weather outside.
The snowy pavements glowed white against the dark night. The day’s footprints had been covered by the fresh layer of snow. Cars had become little white hills that decorated the side of the road.
Morgan tried to run, but the snow was too deep for her to move fast enough. She had no idea where she was going, she just continued on autopilot until she arrived at her parents’ house.
The windows of the house all glowed with soft yellow light; she could almost feel the warmth coming out from them.
The trees flashed its leaves in all different as the fairy lights that had been wrapped around it blinked in sequence.
Morgan crept up to the window and peeked through the gap in the curtains. Her family sat on the other side of the glass enjoying their Boxing Day meal.
She watched as her father reached over and shared a cracker with Ethan. Her mothers beautiful smile shone as she laughed at Cade pretending to sulk when Ethan won the biggest half.
Morgan pressed her face against the glass as the distant voices of her lost family floated out around her. If she knocked would they welcome her with open arms? Would they invite her in and let her become part of the scene that she saw in front of her?
Would they forgiver her?
One day.
The icy chill that was building up cooled the tears on her cheeks, her skin felt chapped and bitten by the cold. Her cold cries stayed silent as she stared wistfully at her father, those arms that had once held her and picked her up as a child were now filled with her Sister Alex.
Alex and Ethan probably didn’t even know she existed, they certainly wouldn’t remember her. She wondered if her mother and father still missed her. For so long she had assumed that her father was dead, executed for her crimes. But he wasn’t he was here living and free. Did they know she was alive or had they given up looking?
The snow soaked through her jeans as she sat back and leant against the wall just listening to their voices. She wrapped her arms around her body trying to get some heat. If only she could just knock on the window and let them know she was here.
If she hadn’t shot Jimmy how would things have turned out? Would he have killed her mother that night? So many what ifs.
Once she was the apple of her father’s eye now she was just a photographic memory on the wall, not part of their lives and now not even part of Adams.
Everything she touched went wrong. From now on it would just be her and her alone, no one else would suffer for her errors.

I really hope that Morgan gets her self straightened out. Does she even know if she is even wanted? Is she wanted?
I personally think that by shoving Adam out the door she should see how hard it is to be alone. Though personally, I think, Adam needs to do some growing up as well.
My 2 cents
