Question about cheatcodes

Okay. I got all of the SIms 2 Computer cheatcodes in a .doc. And when I try to do the Sims 1 way of getting the cheatcode box up [Shift+Alt+Apple+C] when I pause and it doesn't come up.

How do I do it in this version? ^^,,
