I guess I wasn't the only one falling in love. I am really embarrassed to say that there was some drama going on at the homefront while I was away. Apparently, my sister Emma told my parents that the reason why she had decided to take a year off of University was to find herself. Well, that may be the truth but it was only part of it. My little sister Darcei was easdropping when she heard Emma tell Eric that she wasn't going to marry him just because she was pregnant. Of course Darcei being the tattler she is, ran and told Marenda who ran and told my mother. Of course, though, Emma had to face my parents with the truth.
My parents aren't naive but they certainly didn't expect my sister to be pregnant before she finished college. My father is more disappointed in her than angry. My parents believe that if you love someone enough to make love to them you should be smart enough to protect yourself, your partner and any children that may be created.
Eric told my parents that he loved my sister and that he wanted to marry her. But Emma refused, saying that although she can't change the fact that she'll be a mother, she knows for a fact that marriage won't solve any of her problems.
I spent the majority of the day trying to calm my parents down. Now, for some reason, my mom thinks that I might be fooling around with some of the girls. Go figure!

Adreia money doesn't really matter... it matters on the day of paying the bills but really as long as there is food and shelter the rest is up to the couple to be happy and make it special :wink:
