Violent Angel:
i was thinking about this for a bit. If you just need to switch out a background get a sim in a fully same color background floor and wall, then go to the picture toolbar and click on it and you get the sim trasparent, then get a progam like any other, but make sure the img is jpeg if in paint, then switch out backgrounds the software i use( Microsoft Word 2003 and Microsoft Paint)

WickedStar7:
Oh wow.. these are pretty cool tips here..
I'd better stick around here more often.
Does any body here knows how to soften jagged edges or those pics that had been sharpen too much??
Is there other technique than just to feather the image??

Piinkangel:
I just got photoshop and I have been wanting do join some contest! my only problem is my pictures are always so tiny and far away like this:

Will i have to use photoshop to resize? if so how do i make it not blury or will i have to change my camera settings on my sims?

AlbinoBambi:
Pinkangel, in the game, you can change the camera settings. You want to have both quality and size on high/large.
What you could also do is using Prt. Scrn. (Gadwin saves your print screens automatically) but it's really up to you. :)
