I prefer .rar files as it compresses the files better. You can download Winrar for free HERE. It initally says a 30 day free trial, but it doesn't delete from your PC, nor does it stop working.

edit: this isnt working ingame for me i haqve the mesh but it comes up on my sims as a maxis purple formal dress!!
