This was a very interesting story. I have a friend who's only child, a daughter, was abducted at age 17. Sad ending, not like your happy ending, and they never caught the scumbag(s) who raped and killed her. If they had, they'd be locked up forever. I don't know if you want to add an extra chapter to this, but seeing the man and the mom locked up would be great.
