What is the size of your 'Downloads' Folder ?

First time I installed the game DL folder was over 3GB with a tone of files (and you wont believe how long it took my game to load), after virus attack and several hard disk formats, I reinstalled the game and my downloads folder was about 2.93GB. Now after recently being forced to reinstall the game coz of graphical errors *cough*BON VOYAGE*cough*, its down to a very very good size of 2.87GB with about 7000 files (and it still takes yonks to load the game) and im doing my best to keep it that way.

4,23 GB, and my game takes forever to load too ;P I actually reinstalled a while back in order to start anew and only download the "absolute necessities". As if... ;)

Two weeks ago my downloads folder had about 8 GB but after I used the Sims 2 Compressorizer from DJS Sims it shrinked to the size of 4,5 GB. Loading time is still the same but the game itself isn't so slowly any more.

OK, jave done yet another clear out and been really strict with myself and have just gone from 2.86GB to 1.27GB with 8,522 files. Its taken 2 days mind you! They're all filed by website then by collection, so I just went back to the sites I'd got them from and if I hadn't used them, no matter how pretty, I deleted them. Turns out I'm a bloody magpie for shiny Sims stuff :lol:
I haven't started up the game yet to see if its quicker at loading, but it only took around 7mins anyway, so am not too fussed, I just hated the lag on vacation lots. (and that was with a 2GB RAM!)
