what you are looking for is this:

boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false (this turns it off)

and

boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true (turns it back on - which is the default)

It's not a cheat, though.  BoolProp stands for Boolean Property.  It's a property of the game.  Smiley

Are you saying to type that exactly as you have it? Because normally when using the boolprop cheat I never use a capital letter like the way you have "boolProp". I usually type "boolprop".

I'm asking because I haven't been able to get this snapobjects cheat to work.

Thanks.

Galactus - i believe on the Mac platform it is case sensative - but not so on the PC platform.  in fact sometimes it won't recognise the mixed case lettering depending on the EP you have installed and your system's language.

"boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false" - Lets you move objects off the grid

"boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true" - Makes objects snap to the grid

Thanks Beos...Well I just tried it in all lower case and it doesn't work. I tried entering it in the neighborhood view and once in the lot.

Should you have testingcheatsenabled on before entering the snapobjects cheat or something? And where exactly should it be entered?...In the neighborhood view or once in the lot? Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind...it works. I was under the impression that the cheat did something other than what it actually does. I was trying to move objects outside the Lot itself. Rats! I was hoping to do something with a driveway but now that seems impossible.

Unless someone knows of a way to build outside of the Lot grid?

boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false works fine now. it is the

"boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation" that is not working. I am not getting any more errors So i thin i am putting it in right but it will not turn off angle

I'm not having any troubles with boolprop codes in pets. If I do, it's because I've been a complete dork and mistyped something.

Are you also adding "true" to that line?  It won't work otherwise.
