I was wondering if anyone could show me where to download horses that sims can sit on? I've seen them in people's contest entries before.

Dese there are these horses , but they are not extremely realistic (they are like chairs). How do you want your sims sittting on the horse? There are some other ways to make them look like they are riding the horses. Let me know and I'll try to help. ;)

There's the car horses at MTS2 as well...:D

Found the horses over at MTS2 here, took awhile.. they were 13-14 pages in.

The only thing I don't like about those is the sim's facial expresions for story telling. I usually try to have them sitting and use the sitting/talking hack to give them expresions them move them to horse. Sometimes it works sometimes.. well lol. I just don't like their blank expresions. If you have some surface that is invisible that you can place your sims on top of, you can probably use the more realistic horses. A little moving around and camera angles it should work too, just an idea. :D
