I earned (not cheated) a whole lot of money in my sims but it's so much that I want to get rid of it. Is there a cheat or another quick way to dump it.

If you have Nightlife, you can use the familyfunds cheat to take away money.

familyfunds Smith -150000 (to take away §150,000)
familyfunds Smith 150000  (to set their funds at §150,000)
familyfunds Smith +150000 (to give them an additional §150,000)

Monique has a banking hack over at MTS2 (ATM Machine by monique) that allows you to deposit and earn interest, withdraw and donate to another sim. It might work for getting rid of unwanted funds.
