Community Lot to Residential?

Is it possible to covert a community lot into a residential lot? And if so, how?

There is a lot I've downloaded, but it's a community lot. I'd much rather have it for my Sims to live in though

Only if you have OFB, I think. Either that or Pets.. I can't remember. If you have one or both of those, try going into the community lot and type:

changeLotZoning residential

Then exit and reenter the lot.

But will I be able to put the lot in my residential neighborhood?

Well, you have to enter the lot(with or without a sim family), then type in the cheat, exit the lot to make it work.. and then reenter(with or without a family XD). It really is that easy.

It is not that easy. You must remove the phone and the trash basket and replace them with the mailbox and the trash can or the lot will most likely crash or lock-up your game when you try to re-enter it.

Replace that stuff before or after entering the cheat?

It shouldn't matter as long as you do both before you save and exit the lot.
