Do you have any lighting hacks? They can give you a "sunset" and "sunrise"

It sounds to me like the draw speed of your graphics card may not be fast enough for the light transitions. Light (day) to dark (night) and visa-versa. What type of graphics card do you have.

The 7300 is a lower end card, but should not have an issue with the lighting you describe. They are a TurboCache card. Is yours set up to use the on board memory and system ram? I am pretty sure it can be set up either way. I use ATI card with Hypernemory, which is the equivalent of Nvidia TurboCache. I had to manually add the system ram to the card through the bios. If you can bump up the card memory it could help your graphics out overall.

Edit: You may want to scan your downloads with clean installer, and run the hack conflict detection utility from Paladin. You some times will find a hack you picked up unknown to you. The lighting mods seem to be causing many problems, as caffeinated joy mentioned.

I agree with billyd1000. If you've ever downloaded custom houses made by someone with any hacks or mods, they can get included in a house file (quite often unknowingly, so one really can't blame the creator). Some objects have a tendency to do the same thing. Customs phones and beds tend be hack prone, I've found.

Then again, it could simply be a matter of updating your graphics drivers.
