I have a question about sims divorcing or becoming unmarried from the sim they married,does anyone know if this is possible?

yes it is.  if, say, your male sim cheats on his wife sim then the wife becomes furious with him.  when she is furious she gets a new interaction with him: break up.  but if you want an amicable divorce youll have to use insim.  hope that helps!
