I'm not at home right now so can't test. Just a thought are you using a custom dresser or maxi? I took most of the custom content out of my game that had anything to do with dressers and fridges until they can be updated for seasons. I will try to test for you when I get home from work if someone else has not responded.
I would guess that hacks could cause this too although I have Carrigan's hack from Inge Jones site the dinnerbell that allows you to buy clothes from your dresser that she updated for seasons.
