No Audio in game

Installed Seasons, ran it about 1o times, then it started crashing, wouldn't even run at all...well the first splash screen showed up, then it would crash, fixed that, now it runs but there is no Audio at all. The icon in game isn't even enabled. All the other ones work, graphics and game help all work, not the audio. It is really weird playing with a silent sim. No matter what lot I play...dead silent.
My audio is working, just not in game.
My hubby says to install seasons again without uninstalling first, in the hopes that something will get overwritten the right way....
Just thought I'd ask here first. Is this a wise idea?

Yes, Frogman, the sound is working everywhere else. It is weeeeeird.
JustMilly, I got Seasons on the 10th of March, (birthday prezzie to myself :smile: :smile: ) it is interesting that we are experiencing the same thing.

Maybe the sounds are muted. (go to the game options, click the sound one, and see if they are not muted)
I really don't know what else to do.
