Kids Snow Day Bug

Whenever my sim kids get off the bus and come home from school, they have no homework or report card, just a snow day message pops up and their grade doesn't go up or anything, though they've been to school.

I've played without the hacks and CC and know it's just a conflict, but before I spend time figuring it out, just wanted to know if anyone else had that problem and knew what was doing it? Thanks!

A snow day? That's interesting, I made it snow for three days non-stop (to see how deep it would get) and the kids got stuck with homework the whole time. It may just be a random chance thing.

No, it happens every day AFTER they come home from school. And then it doesn't affect the next day, because there is school. And it's not just in winter, it's every season.

I'm going to start pulling stuff out and see what's doing it, I guess this has only happened to me?
