What exactly is face blending limits? I've been playing for a long time but I'm still somewhat of a noob XD

Basically, as I understand it, the game is programmed with a sort of invisible boundary around a Sims' face which facial features aren't supposed to be bigger than. If the parents' features are bigger than this then when they have kids the game reduces the child's genetics so that their features are within this area. Using the cheat "boolProp faceBlendLimits off" (no quotes) stops this happenning and allows the kids to have outrageous features too.
