little help to try to fix this

ok, so, im at work, and i have a problem....:(

a customer came in, with his laptop and his copy of the game and he had just been given both family fun and celebration stuff pack....

he has the dreaded magenta flashies walls >.

That pretty much sounds like his video card won't handle the later EPs and SPs.  With each new pack, EA has increased the demands graphics making the older cards on desktop and laptop obsolete.  You could try playing with the drivers, but don't expect much.
