Changing Clothing Categories

Hi guys, hope this is the right place to be asking, but is there any way to change the category of clothing?  I've got an everyday outfit I've downloaded that would make an excellent formal outfit.  Is there a way of doing this easily?

It's a bit dated, but the newer versions of SimPe and the Clean Installer should work just as well.

Thanks for the link.  It looks pretty complicated though and I don't have SimPE.

Is there a way of doing this through Bodyshop?
