Twins Help!

I keep having twins but every time I do ..the other one doesn't come out..so only one comes..but then I can't interact with him or her!!!....the mother would just lay him/her down and I can't pick them up or anything...please help..this is the first time I have gotten twins

Have you tried the sims 2 hack conflict detection utility? to check for a possible mod conflict.

Lorein - first I would take out all your hacks and check if it happens without them.

And Squingey is right, the cause of it is most probably a hack conflict. What hacks/mods do you have?

I need to repeat myself:

Lorein - first I would take out all your hacks and check if it happens without them.

If you don`t know if something is a hack/mod or not, you could open your Downloads folder with Clean Installer. The items highlighted in red are what you`re looking for. But some of them won`t highlight.

Or you can try the 50/50 method. Take half of your downloads out and check if the issue is happening still. If it does, put that half back and take out the other half and check.  It`s been explained better here

the clean installer doesn't work either..sob..er....i'll try taking out some downloads..already took out 1/4 of it
 
now only the mom can pick them up...better?

Let`s do it like that:

1. take out ALL downloads - a simple way is to move the Downloads folder to the desktop.

2. check if it still happens

3. If it stopped without the Downloads, then it`s something you downloaded and that means you have to either remove all and start all over or look in the existing downloads for the bad stuff and get rid of it.
If - what I highly doubt in - it didn`t stop, then you need someone smarter than me to help you

thanks for all your help..decided to take everything out and start from scratch...no more custom contents for me..pfffft...lets see how long that last ! *wink* lmao

You`re welcome.

If you have NL or later you can categorize your downloads in the subfolders. That`s very handy. If you put all the mods/hacks in a subfolder you can easily find them and remove if there is such need. Same applies to a folder for new downloaded items.
