How do you take pics in Bodyshop?

ah.... well a mac, I'm afraid, is beyond my realm of experience :D

Try looking for some screen grabber for the Mac by searching the web.  It will capture the image on the screen, then with some kind of paint program, you can crop it to what you want to keep.  

One possiblity is http://osx.iusethis.com/app/screengrabber for OS X.
